Music and Movement Classes
for children ages 5 months to 6 years
Each week at Music Time, an experienced teacher utilizes various genres of music and incorporates age-appropriate instruments and props to integrate the best of current music instruction methods for young children. Our classes encourage musical exploration, develop listening skills, and establish a foundation of musical concepts. Our movement activities strengthen motor skills, coordination, body awareness and self-esteem, and we strongly encourage creativity and self expression. Children are divided into specific age groups and attend with a parent or guardian.
Classes are 45 minutes in length, and class size is limited to10 child/adult participants to facilitate individual attention.
Prices: Class prices are based on the length of the session. Sibling discounts are available. (An infant attending with an older sibling is free.) When space is available, we offer ongoing registration with prorated fees.
Location: North Chevy Chase Christian Church: 8814 Kensington Parkway, Chevy Chase, MD. We are also available to bring our classes to your specified location.
Special Classes for Groups Book one of our Music Time programs for your play group, moms’ club, school or neighborhood special event. We are delighted to visit once or twice a month, once a season or once a year. Programs can be priced per child or per event.
